Bluesky expands Attie from custom feeds to websites and games

The announced features extend Attie’s artificial intelligence tools to small, shareable social experiences, with Bluesky identities connecting creators to the network.

An open laptop displaying a game-editing interface sits on a worn wooden workbench beside a wired game controller, mug, notebook and loose papers. Two office chairs stand to the right, with cables and equipment shelving in the background.

Attie moves beyond building feeds

Bluesky announced expanded creation tools for Attie at TechCrunch Disrupt on October 15, 2026. Previously focused on helping users build custom social feeds with artificial intelligence, Attie is expanding to websites and small interactive experiences, including games and polls.

The change broadens what creators can make: from choosing content for a feed to building something others can interact with. The Verge reports that Attie-created social apps can be shared as standalone websites.

Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider described the expanded Attie as a way to build social experiences for groups and communities. Games and polls illustrate that focus, giving the announcement a purpose beyond creating another way to read posts.

Bluesky profiles connect creators to their projects

According to TechCrunch, Attie connects creators to their AT Protocol identities and suggests projects based on their public Bluesky profiles. Those profiles therefore serve as a starting point for ideas as well as a connection to the social network.

AT Protocol is the underlying technology used by Bluesky and other decentralized social apps. TechCrunch reports that Attie-created experiences will also use it, tying the new projects to technology already supporting those social services.

Bluesky Chief Operating Officer Rose Wang said creators can bring their own artificial intelligence model and that their creations can reach Bluesky’s audience. That makes audience access part of the company’s pitch, though her statement does not establish how many people any individual project would reach.
